Veripos holds Technology & Demonstration Day

(Aberdeen, Scotland, October 2017) VERIPOS, a global leader in the supply of Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) positioning services to the offshore oil and gas industry held a Technology & Demonstration Day in Aberdeen on 5^th October 2017.

VERIPOS, in co-operation with Aberdeen based work boat provider McLachlan Marine, held a number of sessions throughout the day at which participants attended a presentation followed by a demonstration of VERIPOS products and services onboard McLachlan Marine’s vessel - Ocean Predator.

The demonstrations included VERIPOS multi-constellation signal correction service Apex⁵, which utilises GPS, GLONASS, GALILEO, BeiDou and QZSS in the positioning solution. In addition to Quantum and GNSS Heading, attendees also had the opportunity to view current VERIPOS research and development work in GNSS/INS integration to increase reliability, redundancy and safety to the future VERIPOS solutions.
