LD6 Integrated Mobile Unit

The LD6 Integrated Mobile Unit with the Veripos red target.

The LD6 is a comprehensive, powerful integrated mobile unit that can receive VERIPOS services through the L-Band demodulator. This product is suitable for a wide range of applications including hydrographic/offshore surveying, dredging, offshore construction, seismic exploration and dynamic positioning, and is ideal for long-term projects.

The LD6 can be configured with single or dual-frequency receivers, and is also configurable to receive corrections from VERIPOS HF service, MF beacon service and UHF correction sources. All information is available to be output to external equipment and software for processing.

The LD6 features a colour touch screen interface that makes set-up easy, and it can be upgraded offshore. A monitor can also be attached to the LD6 for a more detailed graphical display.

A powerful onboard processor runs VERIPOS positioning algorithms and applications. This allows VERIPOS visualisation to function without an additional PC. A solid-state hard disk provides raw data storage for post-processing and support. Fourteen galvanic isolated serial ports can be configured for either RS-232 or RS-422 output. Data is also available through dual independent Ethernet ports to allow operation on a LAN.
