A save at sea

A mechanical issue forced the Mayflower Autonomous Ship (MAS) to return home after its original launch in June 2021, but plans are in place to try again next spring. During its few days at sea, the VERIPOS high-precision receivers onboard performed flawlessly and were instrumental in getting the ship back to base.

Advanced GNSS+Inertial for marine survey and dynamic positioning

Hydrographic surveyors use SPAN GNSS+INS technology to drive down their error budgets, improving resolution of multibeam solutions mapping the ocean floor. Operators in the offshore oil and gas sector also integrate SPAN GNSS+INS technology for more robust and reliable dynamic positioning systems of marine vessels.
